Here is a shot from Tupat. Shea, Tupat, and Peter Mendia have been running back and forth to Costa getting work done. Here are a few photos to check out.
Tom Geilfuss just shot us over an email with some photos from his recent trip to Romania with Untitled Skateboards for the ”Livin It” Festival. After talking at school assemblies, building and setting up ramps for demos. He still found time to email us about his adventure.
Heat wave, dead flat, guidos, traffic. East coast is in full summer effect. To get away from it all team rider Luke Ditella spent the last 2 and a half weeks on the west coast shooting video and feeding turtles bananas out of his mouth.
200 kids + 100 degree weather = one hot mess of skateboarding. Thanks to Vans, Redbull, Skatetheroy.com, Silk City Skateboards, and the Boardroom for putting on a fun event. For more photos check out Skate Theory.
So I went to the bar last night with the Intern and we had another dude shirt sighting. Hey broh… Thanks for keeping it real and throwing a shocker… stop by Elation in Ocean City or Ventnor and pick up some new gear.
Here is a photo of the new “off kilter” and “blinded” boardshorts on display at Elation.
Ergo AM Shawn Hale has been traveling with the Untitled Team and sent over this montage today from BP Skatepark. Shawn is wearing the blue ergo tee and Pinky colab cap. You can see more footage of Shawn HERE and HERE.
A few years ago… Before we were really a company, we set off on a 1 year east coast tour in an RV. To make a long story short, we gave away a ton bunk tee shirts. To make another super long story short… Justin, the owner of Focus Magazine, was in Galactic G Skate Shop , in Orlando, and snapped a camera phone pic of a kid still rocking that shit. Hey kid sick shirt… Thanks for the support… Go to Antiapparel.com and cop some new shiz.
Jeff Von Beaver Pelt (chief in charge of nothing) and Robbie Da Prince (head honcho) showed up wearing the same thing yesterday. Not 20 minutes later we received some lifestyle photos from TUPAT (ergo staff photog/ …Lost Legend) of Shea wearing the same thing… a little weak photoshop work and Viola.
If you never heard of Tupat… here is a couple clips.
This is dated clip from an old friend of ours. Roger is originally from our home town in NJ, but moved to California a couple decades ago. We reconnected with Rog a few months ago, so thought we would throw this clip up. Roger is now rocking ergo and helping promote the brand in southern california. Roger Jeffrey clip… enjoy!
Danny Berk gets first place honors for the overall standings in the boys division at the YMCA Surf Series. Danny, 14 yrs young, from San Diego seams to be on the right track and we look forward to seeing more stuff from Danny in the future. Congratulations Danny, and keep it up homie!
Here is a photo of Danny rocking the pinky artist colab attak tee - evil repeat hoodie - and the Da Purse Stitch Cap. Stop by Antiapparel.com and pick up some gear. You too can look cool like Danny Berk chilling in front of his moms ergo’ed out gas guzzling SUV.
ergoPHOBIA is hosting a skate contest in Puerto Rico on August 2nd @ Skate Town Park in Rincon. There will be a team signing and guest judging by Ronnie Creager, Gary Smith, and Andrew Cannon. See flyer for details.
We have teamed up with our East Coast Sales Manager, Chris Donmoyer, and ERGO Pro Gary Smith who own Baltimore’s Vu Skateshop for Go Skate Day. That right…. ERGO, Vu Skateshop, Osiris, and Interstate will be hosting a Go Skateboarding Day event in Baltimore. See flyer for details.
Team rider’s Alejo Marin and Josie Graves along with ergo flow squad’s Carlos Trigo have been blowing us up down in Puerto Rico, tagging up everything and anything possible.
The Caribbean saw some fun swell this past spring. Now that it’s summertime and the waves are few and far between here in Jersey, we rely on videos to get us through it. Check out Josie Graves, Alejo Marin and friends in some fun, warm, tropical surf.
Matt Keenan just checked in from his recent trip to Bali with Mike Losness and photographer Anthony Ghiglia. When he wasn’t to busy fighting off monkeys trying to steal his camera, he scored some fun surf at Uluwatu and Canngu as well as other breaks around the island.
A few of us here at the ergo office are fans of electronic music. If you know anything about it… you would know that Deadmau5 is killing it right now. To make a long story short, we hooked up with Beatports man of the year. Here are some photos of Deadmau5 from the Coachella Music Festival.
Deadmau5 working in his office wearing the ergo “day job” walk shorts
Deadmau5 (on the right) rocking the “City Slicker” walk short chilling with DJ Aero, Tommy Lee, and Steve Duda.
Thats right homies… Our east coast sales manager, Chris Donmoyer, and pro team rider Gray Smith are opening a new skate shop in Baltimore. Stop by the Vu Skateshop Grand Opening on June 7th and get a sesh on their mini ramp. Afterwards… join them for a guaranteed good time after party and team video premier. Tons of free ergo giveaways. Read flyer for more info.
Matt Keenan is in Bali right now with Mike Losness and their chicks. They also brought along photog Anthony Ghiglia. Congratulations to Matt on his engagement… what better place in the world to make it go down. Anyway, here is a photo… along with our ichat conversation.
Stop by Anti Apparel and pick up the Capone Stripe woven and ask your chick to get married in it like Keenan did.
Sam sent these photos over of him and his friends destroying their buddies car for the fun of it. They were about to drive it 36 hours south to pick up another friend in Mexico City until Daniel (guy on the ground) jumped off the balcony landed on the windshield and sliced Sam’s nose open from the impact as he was sitting in the car ready to go… hope this doesn’t affect his creativity.
Since it’s practically summer here on the east coast. Matthew and Dan decided to have some fun on a local tennis court and this is what came out of it.
Being a New Jersey Shore based company we run into the problem of Guidos coming in and taking over our shore towns every summer. You may not think this is a big deal, but the shit is getting out of hand. Guidos, wide backs, juice necks, ginnys… Your bound to cross paths with these Italian tool bags here at the Jersey Shore. Guido videos are one of the funniest things on you-tube but, if your not familiar with the term ‘Guido’…. we have posted some photos and video clips below to bring you up to speed. Your typical guido devotes his life to the following things: spiked-out blown-out “brooklyn fade” haircuts, gratuitous portions of hair gel, fine italian linens, cadilac escalades, gym memberships, anabolic drugs, euro-rave velcro sneakers, massive techno fist pumping, tanning salons, jagerbombs, and excessive club drug use. Recently, the local population has grown tired of the guidos and have been very hard on them. We just wanna let all the guidos know that we appreciate the grade A humor you bring to our beaches each summer. Summer would be so boring without these goofy fucks around giving us something to laugh at.
These photos just reached us from one of our shop flow kids at Fat Trax. Fat Trax is one of our accounts up in Mass. They have two locations. One is in East Longmeadow, MA and the other is in Easthampton, MA. If your ever up there or happen to live there… stop by and check em’ out. While your there pick up some ergo gear and say whats up to Brendan (aka Fetus). Here is a link to the Fat Trax myspace page: http://myspace.com/fattrax
Alejo left this voicemail the other day and everyone at the office was frothing on it… so we have decided to share it with you. If you don’t know Alejo… check out this photo that ran in Transworld Surf last issue.
We pack a ton of boxes here and love screwing around with the people we ship to. We draw rollerblades, rainbows, unicorns and all sorts of gay art work on the inside and put random things in with peoples stuff to mess with them. So the other day we needed to mail Andrew Cannon a reimbursement check for the AZ trip. Instead of sending it regular mail with a stamp… we decided to waste some cardboard and send it fed ex. Enjoy!
Surf photographer, Ryan Miller, sent us a video the other day of some epic party footage of him and a few mates. It was shot in Scotland a few weeks ago while everyone was there for the Oneill Highland Open in Thurso. We had no idea what we were in for….. These guys were going totally nuclear at some radical euro club. There was wild trance dancing, double-dutch jump roping, and an enough air humping to make your head spin. He said to put it up on the blog… We emailed him back to double check and his response was,”Fuck yeah blow that thing up!!!!!!!!”….. so here it is! I am sure you will see some familiar faces. Enjoy!
Last month our team met up in Arizona to gather some content. On the trip was Ronnie Creager, Gary Smith, Shawn Hale, Andrew Cannon, Tom Geilfus, and Ki Realer. We were lucky to have Matt Price shoot photos and Thad Crosky who filmed and edited this clip. The clip has been getting a ton of views on the Skateboard Mag Website, Osiris Website, and Skate AZ. So stop by those sites and support our new friends. Thanks to everyone that was involved in this successful trip.
Tom is the nicest kid you will ever meet, so when this photo came across with the corn rows looking all thug we had to post it. Untitled Skateboards went to Jamaica for a demo. Here are some photos from his trip… Also attached is some of Toms footage to check out. Enjoy!
Today is a big day for ergoPHOBIA as we welcome Shea Lopez to our surf team. Keep your eyes peeled for footage and photos of Shea tracking swells around the world . He joins Matt Keenan, Wesley DeSouza, Luke Ditella, Josie Graves, Jensen Callaway, Alejo Marin, and Brendan Buckley. We look forward to a successful future with Shea. Here is a clip of Shea a few weeks ago in Mex. Enjoy!
A few weeks ago our surf team hit up Nicaragua. On the trip was Jensen Callaway, Luke Ditella, Matt Keenan, Josie Graves, and Alejo Marin. Behind the lens was New Jerseys own Ryan Miller and all footage is shot by NSR filmer Lucha Libre. Stay tuned for photos from the trip. Enjoy the clip!
Al Polloioni flew back from Hawaii the other day. His hair grew this way due to an apparent hormonal side effect. Doctors say his case of ’swollen go-nads’ and ‘radical hair-doo’ was a direct result of massive tube time logged at pipe this past winter.
We were greeted at the beach today by a sketchy dude in a rubber raft filled to the brim with kilos of stickers. The cops swooped in and we got out in the nick of time. We already have the product into our distribution network and plan on plastering every neighborhood you ever heard of.
